Last week at Shipley Business Hub, we opened up to Young Entrepreneurs who came to sell their wares during Shipley Town Council’s Summer Fun Day. The turn out was impressive with youngsters bringing their home made goods, such as crochet items, jewellery, purses etc and between them they made over £500. Today we hear from Nathan, a talented young Wildlife Photographer who blew visitors away with his work.

Hi, I’m Nathan, a 14-year-old local wildlife photographer.
A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of having a stall at the Young Entrepreneurs fair at Shipley Library, during the Summer Fun Day, (organised by Shipley Town Council) where I was able to showcase some of my best photos.
Firstly, I’d just like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Shipley Library for organising the event and making it all happen. The staff worked so hard to put everything together, and it was a brilliant day to be a part of. I’d also like to thank everyone who came to visit my stall and stopped to look at my photos, or supported me in any way. It really was great to see lots of people interested in my work.
Being part of this event was a great opportunity to get my photography out there and share something I’m really passionate about with the local community. It was also a chance to meet lots of lovely people, hear their feedback, and talk about my work.
It really was an amazing step in my wildlife photography journey, and I’m really grateful to everyone who helped make the event happen; both the staff and the customers. I’m looking forward to taking part in more events like this in the future and continuing to grow as a photographer.
